Finally went to see Alien Covenant tonight. The pics above were just before the finishing touches on my makeup. These next ones are after and sorry but some are a little over exposed as my bathroom light is so bright.. as you can see though I was feeling rather confident…
My earrings are a sparkly silver and match my nails today 🙂
Adding a necklace as a finishing touch…
By the way, I bought this top at Goodwill for $5.99. Thank you to whomever donated it! I love it!
The movie was very good. The realism of the effects and the level of gore in this one kind of shocked me actually. My Dad and I used to bond while repeatedly watching the first and second Alien movies whenever they were on cable. I have fond memories of those first two movies and this one was also as thrilling as it was disturbing.
I had to stop at Target on the way home from the movie to get some groceries. I noticed a gay couple with two daughters there. When I went to checkout, I was behind what I believe was possibly a poly-amorous group of women (one of them whom I think may be trans). They also had a little girl with them. I have no idea if that was the case, but I was delighted to see such a variety of people at my local target tonight!
Also, the woman at the checkout said to me, “it amazes me how some women can put themselves together so well. You look great!” I thanked her and said, “well, I just came from a movie so..” and she cut me off saying “well you definitely accomplished it today!” I thanked her again and finished paying.
Today turned out to be such a pleasant day but I am bummed I kind of ran out of time to stream some gaming tonight. Look for me to stream tomorrow night probably around 8 or 9 pm central.
