After an amazing but late night in Chicago with my friend Charlie (visiting all the way from Iowa with her bf Jacob), it was rise and shine by 7 am to meet my other friend named Charlie (whom I have known since before transitioning) to catch up over breakfast. I’m a little tired, but what a great start to the weekend!
Happy Pride Month! Last night Charlie and I explored the LGBT bars in Boystown. It was a very memorable night. We even found ourselves at one point in a basement vintage clothing shop that was open super late.
Up bright and early after about 4.5 hours of sleep!
