NYE at the Chicago Lake Front 12/31/2017

I was wearing flats with sparkle bows on them (you can sort of see them above). I didn’t go with heels this time (even though I brought them just in case).

Oh and here is just a fun one getting closer to midnight.. and now I see that my necklace clasp was off kilter.. oh well!

I need to check with my friends before posting any of the pictures with them. My camera on my phone got a workout and I got some great shots with my beautiful friends. Some of them actually braved the cold and rode the ferris wheel on Navy Pier and more even went out for the fireworks at midnight. I know Navy Pier fairly well and did not feel like bundling up for that as I did not feel even my good winter coat would be enough for me with a -20 degree wind chill.
