I went to the Aurora Pride parade today with some of my friends. My friend Colleen dressed as BatGirl and was stopped and asked for multiple pictures including one with the mayor, lol. This is only the second year Aurora has held a pride parade. It became the first city besides Chicago in Illinois to host one. There were only around half a dozen protestors I saw there and their idiotic signs were blocked by people with umbrellas and their voices were drowned out. All in all, it was a wonderful event.
